Children's Ministry

(Preschool through 6th Grade)

Cheyenne Alliance Church makes children a priority because we want to develop Christian character during the time when character is being developed. Our goal is to prepare a young person’s mind with answers to most spiritual questions and have those answers physically transform their character by the time they are 12 years old. We do not take this responsibility ourselves but share it with parents. All children’s workers are committed to this goal and, in order to provide you with security, are screened with a background check and checked references.

Kid's Sunday Worship Service

Our kid’s Sunday School is a worship service just for kids. At the start of the Sunday morning regular service, kids meet at the secure check-in at the west modular. After prayer time and game time we move to the Fellowship Hall for Kid’s Worship, a high energy singing time. Kids then go back to their 4 different grade related small group classes in the west modular. In their classes, the kids learn about the Bible, play games, make crafts, and are challenged to live for God.

Awana Club

All kids preschool through 6th grade are invited to come on Monday nights from 6:15 to 8:00pm to Awana. This is a unique fun filled evening where kids study the Bible in Handbook Time, compete in Game Time, and are challenged by a message in Council Time. Awana clubbers earn awards and prizes for completing sections in their handbooks, winning at game time, and for good sportsmanship. Awana holds special events for clubbers throughout the year and theme nights to make the evening more exciting. There is a small fee to join the club.

Nursery

During the Sunday morning services, childcare for your little ones is provided. We offer a safe environment on the first floor of the West side of the building. One room is for infants and another is designed for toddlers. The toddlers hear and see a Bible story, sing a song, do an activity, and play.
